It seems impossible, even to me
What I feel for you and how much I see
It wasn't long ago, I remember when
I felt that I could never love again
My life seemed over because of him
And I tried to end it all on a whim
I won't try to say it was love at first sight
But something about you gave me a will to fight
To fight for my life to be normal once more
There was someone else whom I could adore
You showed me that I could move on in life
And not all of my pain would end with a knife
I learned that cutting myself would ruin it all
It wouldn't help me feel better or make the burden small
It would only make everything worse than it was
And would come back to haunt me like everything does
When I'm with you I see there's something worth living for
I see that life isn't just a chore
It's something I can love, something I can enjoy
But only if I won't let it be ruined by some boy
Thanks to you I finally understand
That even the impossible is within reach of my hand
