Impossible Dreamer Poem by Jst Brk

Impossible Dreamer

Maybe I’m just a dreamer,
Or maybe just a fool.
I dream for the impossible,
To come true in my life.

Imagine the greatest moments,
That could ever happen
Between you and me, I dream.
Dream for the impossible.

All day, all night, I dream.
My mind fills with dreams,
Dreams of the heart,
But they will never come true.

I dream of the past,
Forever remembering those moments.
The moments of just you and me.
That I shall forever dream of.

The dreams of good,
Are over run by the nightmares.
Forever a battle within myself,
Neither side ever defeated.

Above all else,
I dream of you.
I dream of our time together,
And what went wrong.

The words you said to me,
That made your feelings clear,
Will stay in my nightmares,
As the day I lost my best friend.

For now my dreams will remain,
Every night I will dream of the impossible,
And hope that someday these dreams,
Will come true, and over come impossibilities.
