Impossible Life Poem by pavitra singh

Impossible Life

Believe me when i say
Its not easy to see your life
Destroyed in front of your own eyes
When all you can do is spectate
Everything you did, every memory you made
Every moment you cherished
Just washed down the drain
In bloody tears & salty rains.

A perfect life, A perfect love, The perfect lie.
Its no fairytale and there are no happy endings
Just hurt & pain all the way.

Believe me when i say
Its not easy for me to walk
Not long since i fell down the rabbit hole
With a wounded heart & a fractured soul
Its hard for me to trust
Harder still to look up
With closed eyes
The falling stars & the crying moon in the bleeding sky.

To move on, To give up
Better said than done
with every day passed you're back at the start
The same race, the same game
The same life
I've lived again & again.

Believe me when i say
I know i f****d up bad
Even though it wasn't my mistake
They said i was born with a silver spoon; I needn't work nor toil.
Instead i end up worse, cause what I've lost
Money cannot buy.

Broken bones & broken lives
Both heal with the passing times
Burned down houses can be rebuilt
But it wont be a home
Till you can bring back the people who've died.

Believe me when i say
Life is a Bubble on a bed of thorns.
