Impossible Love Poem by Rosalyn Grohol

Impossible Love

Rating: 5.0

We were only kids
We were free and running wild
You never said you loved me
But I could see it in your smile

Your eyes lit up
When I walked into a room
There could be a million people
But I only saw you

We would sneak away
Whisper in the dark
I never really told you
But you always had my heart

But we took different paths
We could never be together
But somewhere in my twisted mind
I wished for forever

Every night I could hear
Your heart beat
In every single song
And every melody
