IMPRESSION

Lost in Uncle’s hat
I copy him to a tee
becoming him so
exactly he...can’t stop
tears running into his beer.

*******

Wasps in windows
curse(in fluent wasp) how
glass – cuts off – the world.

Old bumblebee moans
“Where has summer gone? ” shivers...
...spider...advances.

Adrift on a raft
of high hay in a barn...sun
beams splashing like waves.

Brilliant white milk spills
into turgid green cow pats
such colour contrasts
