In A Glance Poem by Fallen Too Far

In A Glance

He floats by me, and smiles
Just a boy
Im filling up my tank at the station
Normal Tuesday evening
But he's beautiful
And full of summer

So I muster up my courage
Cuz it can only happen once
I look at him with honest eyes
Got nothing to hide
And for the briefest moment I let him see
The inside of me
He understands, and nods
There's just something about him

And I love him for all I'm worth
Like you can only love once

A stranger looks you in the eye
And somehow, it's not so strange anymore
