In A Racist Country, We All Lose Poem by Hebert Logerie

In A Racist Country, We All Lose

Remember the old Germany
The bigotry, the wall, the injustice and the disunity
Remember the apartheid of South Africa
The racism, the chaos, the hate, and the paranoia
In a racist country, we all lose
We all suffer. The country is at pause
Nobody has the right to choose
We are all dealing with the same cause
There is no diversity, no good choice
People are afraid to live and to rejoice
Everything is monotonous and sad
Everything is unjust, unfair and bad
In a racist country, where there is no justice
There is no peace, even the police
Are afraid. Nobody is safe
Everyone is indeed unsafe
There is no democracy, no dissent
Everything is awful and indecent
Racism is a cancer; bigotry is a disease
There is no fresh air, no good breeze
We are all scared and living in jail
We are all burning and rotting in hell
In a racist country, there are no winners
Only liars, losers, criminals, and murderers.
