In A Whisper Poem by Adegbite Adeyinka

In A Whisper

If only she sees what I see,
And hears my every thought, that
She basks in the grandeur of the golden Sun
And wears the grace of the stars in a night sky
Even then, will she stare into the truth in my eyes
And smile to ease this unending pain?

Need I tell her what she is
When the World see her as I do?
The astounding allure of her skin
And this indescribable radiance in her eyes
Leaves my breath these words to voice
She is an eidolon of magnificence
