In a world
Where hate, violence and terror,
Outpass love, peace, and empathy;
Where human blood streams flow,
In ceaseless waves,
Words of enlightenment are sparse,
scarce and slight;
Overshadowed by,
the shadows of the darkness,
As the bright stars on a cloudy night,
The people of enlightenment,
Scarce and few are in this world,
Where discontent and displeasure,
engulf almost everyone;
Contentment and pleasure,
if someone has,
Are the free gifts، a miracle indeed;
Bridges across humanity,
Are being broken down,
By the big powers,
ungodly, and inhuman;
A torrent of hate daily they feed!
We are the helpless,
Tortured by the blazing fire of terror,
Tormented by the rain of bombs and rockets,
Persecuted by tyranny and oppression,
Everytime we sit calm and quiet in our homes,
Racists, nationalists, bigots knock at our doors,
Every time we try to walk ahead,
There is a tight rope stretched,
Between the violence and terror;
Each day we face,
The unbearable ice-cold-winds,
Of starvation, terrorism, and war,
And above all our pain and sufferings,
Colonisers and colonists are racing,
Towards us with guns in their hands.
