In A World We Never Knew - Poem by Corina Vitale

Dark
Light

Sad
Happy

How do I feel?
Will I ever know?

Blindness
Sight

Love
Hate

How can I find what I’m looking for?
Will I know what it is?

Up
Down

Round
Square

How will I know the answers?
Are there answers?

Run
Walk

Care
Neglect

Will I heal?
Can I heal?

Sun
Moon

Empty
Full

Does anything have an opposite?
Is everything just the same?

Throw
Catch

Push
Lift

Does love exist?
Where can I find it?

Left
Right

Turn
Straight

Is there enough for me?
Is there enough for you?

Those are the questions
Those are the answers

Run, scream, hit
Walk, speak, hug

What’s the difference if no one cares?
