In All Of The Heavens Poem by Robert Rorabeck

In All Of The Heavens

Set us together in some parks and
Tell us we are lovers'
Light fireworks off over our shoulders
As we try to kiss'
Giving our tongues a dictionary of
Confections
That will play upon our hearts forever'
We will become little trinkets that
Will bear children
And name them as you have named
The constellations,
For they will mean just as much
As all of the angels sneaking around with
The airplanes in all of the heavens.
