In All Sense Poem by Mohammad Younus

In All Sense

In all sense,
I am I;
A divine observer!
As in a trance,
Absorbed,
In the manifestation.

A man of water and clay!
Curiously looking,
For the creator;
Hidden yet manifest!
Remote yet present!

Before my eyes in action!
Reminding me,
In the Wordless voice: -

I am the beautiful!
I love my beauty!
I ain't a diminutive figure,
Barely discernible!
I am the timeless!
The Eternal!

How can I escape,
From my eternal source?
My origin is in divine soul;
I am born to sing the glory,
Of my originator;
My soul compressed,
Into my body frame,
Like exultant notes,
Of the divine lute;
Coming out from the unseen,
Vibrating all along,
In the inner and outer space.

He who is speaking,
In me and through me,
He is nameless;
Yet, He is known by all names
The reason for his absence
And presence are unknown.

He seems to me like a shepherd,
associated with his hordes of cattle
Yet standing at a distance
under some deodar tree in the meadow
causally playing a flute;
Sweet musical streams,
Issue from His Flute,
Mesmerising his flock of sheep.
