In Awe Poem by Vonda Overlie

In Awe

Tugging on your shirtail making my presence known. Relentless in my quest.

Like a spoiled child I am only content in your arms. Nothing else will satisfy.

When I am resltess. you give me rest.
When I am fearful you bring peace.
When I am thirsty you, quench my need.

Never changing, always with me.
Promises unbroken.
Strength for each day.

My shallow mind can not comprehend the glory of you.
I am in awe at your splendor.

You are magnificent. Your beauty shines out each and every morning.
In spite of me.

I feel so small, yet you in all your vastness, you love and hear me.
I just wrote to say I love you Lord!
