In Deepest Shadows, Where Illusions Lie Poem by Mohammad Younus

In Deepest Shadows, Where Illusions Lie

In deepest shadows, where illusions lie,
I lift my gaze to the endless sky,
With whispered prayers, my heart takes flight,
Seeking solace in the softest light.

When smoky mist blinds me like black clouds,
And the paths ahead are veiled in doubt,
I turn my eyes to the heavens above,
In search of guidance, in the dark.

O God, my refuge, my guiding star,
In moments of doubt, You're ever near.
Your gentle hand, a soothing touch,
Restores my spirit and makes me whole.

Through storms that rage and tempests wild,
In Your embrace, I find my peace, like a child.
In Your lap, through lightning and thunder,
I rest, knowing that fears will fade, and hope will rise anew.

So when I feel lost in the heavy shades of night,
You sing to me a steadfast song.
For in my heart, I know it's You, the presence true,
With every breath, I learn it is only You, the One Reality.
