In Delight Of Dreaming Poem by Dennis Go

In Delight Of Dreaming

In delight of dreaming
Could I be fond of you?
Through all the times of lonely living;
Within myself, I searched for you.
For when will be the only time
Of sweet melancholies buy
The heart, the soul of lonely heather?
Will you be his? Will you be mine?

If scribes devise a poem's verse,
May it be bothered unafraid:
Trails' longevity show its harmony
The heart's loneliness in a waiting shed.
Can it be altered, emotion's victim;
Suffice a way to break him free
The chains that hold a heart forever,
And bind the strength of immortality?

To whom may save the days of grieving
A heart no use for fools:
The long lost notes I used to write
In delight of dreaming, in thoughts of you?
May it go on, the questions asked
To win a favor; a deed or two.
Again these things, apart from heaven;
Could I be worthy enough for you?
