In Despair I Lose All Sense Of Poetry Poem by Shalom Freedman

In Despair I Lose All Sense Of Poetry

IN DESPAIR I LOSE ALL SENSE OF POETRY

In despair I lose all sense of poetry
Each and every flat line
Is equal to every other-
Nothing rings of hope
And nothing is real.

The Poem is an effort
Which does not believe in itself
And life is a rock too heavy too lift
I cannot even try to push up.
