In Dreams Poem by Kevin Hulme

In Dreams

Why is it that you now turn away
With never a Smile to send it's warming light unto me.
Have those full lips ever formed my name with kind intent,
And what hopeful loving gesture did this Heart ever see?
So then; I will cast you adrift from all thoughts,
No more will I sing Sonnets of Loves delight.
But - you are my Beatrice, My Laura, Erato's Sweet breath,
And when dusk calls you will be in dreams,
That crazed Asylum of fever fuelled Night.
