In Every Language Poem by Eugene Ethelbert Miller

In Every Language

Remind me (again) how beautiful you are.
Remind my words how to dance.
Yes, teach them poetry. Let my words
look into your eyes and taste your lips.
This is what I remember when you walk
away (again). The streets so empty
without your arms.
