In His Presence Poem by Charles Karia

In His Presence

There is a place that few know,
Where his blessings endlessly flow,
And the tender love of his son warmly glow,
Till the inspired musing of his spirit gently blow.

The haughty knows not the place,
Nor the the religious have the grace,
Toapproach this dwelling with confidence
And behold the majesty of his face.

This is where waves are stilled
And his beloved are gifted.
Of Martha and Mary haven't you heard
And how tarrying pleased the lord?

To whom has he revealed the secret.
That those who tarry there in he will anoint
With the miracles of his might.
For seeking his kingdom first.
