In Love Again. Poem One Poem by Morgan Robinson

In Love Again. Poem One

In love again

Of course, it may seem like a simple kiss
So soft, so gentle, so crisp
Made of the purest intent to flatter, but not to dismiss
At least that's what I told myself

I realise the feeling and I react
Just enough to have my fragile feelings remain compact
If I lose it, then I'll die-
If I release it, then I'll cry.

And it feels like I am in love again
A simple heartache can cause me to lose a friend
A simple feeling can't explain
I suppose I am in love again

A plot to claim you
I have no right
A plot to leave you
I can't do without

And if I lose you right now
If I feel the void with the feelings of how?
Coward? Crazy, I'll become
And I'll die when the time has come

And it feels like I am in love again
A simple heartache can cause me to lose a friend
A simple feeling can't explain
I suppose I am in love again

And though I know I'll know I will never have you
And though I was dying inside
I am free to say the truth
Insanely, yet it's true
I can breath again

And it feels like I was in love again
A simple heartache can cause me to lose a friend
A simple feeling can't explain
I suppose I was in love once again

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is for my friend, whom i loved, but he has no feelings for me back. Today i gave him a teddy bear and a chocolate rose but received no hug nor kiss on the cheek, only a thank you- i guess that is not so bad. However, i felt bad, so i wrote this to my lonely hearts.
