Lonely Is The Nicest Status In The World: A Poem For The Living

Lonely nice Is the nicest status in the world

Loneliness doesn't leave you for another
Loneliness isn't a passerby
Loneliness isn't a friend in trouble, when they’re done, they leave you aside
Loneliness has no feelings, no more nor less
Loneliness is an empty void, can filled, if your blessed

Despite what they say, loneliness is comforting
It holds on to you, tight and won’t let go
It cares enough to say, a friend that would never, ever go away
It weighs you down and puts your life in a perspective view
It is there to lean on, if life ever goes askew.

Loneliness isn't what you feel, it is what you are
That is why lonely is the best status afar
It is consistent, to the end
Even if you're with someone, it won’t bend

You see, we were all born lonely
We are the one and only, the first and the last of our kind
Thrust out into a world so unkind
Thus it is logical that loneliness is what we lean on
Because with no one else, it is us we can depend on
