In Loving Memory Of Grandma Dolly Poem by Melissa Medrano

In Loving Memory Of Grandma Dolly

High in the heavens, Looking down
God by your side, True happiness is finally found
The best grandma anyone could ever ask for, God bless your soul
Looking over our family, Our guardian angel
I don’t know what to say, I don’t know how to explain
The loss of you grandma has caused so much pain
We could always count on you through the stormy weather
You were more than any grandma, you held our family together
Always laughing and joking, sweet and nice
With a listening ear, ready to give advice
Your as loving as they come, the best that they get
Deep in our hearts, we’ll never forget
The one person in our family to keep us from going insane
Always there for our troubles, our hurt and our pain
I’m trying my best to come to terms that God took you from us
There’s always good reasoning behind what he does
To keep you on earth would almost be wrong
In the heavens are where beautiful angels belong
I’ll cherish our memories forever, not one will I forget
Just remember grandma, they’re not over yet
I can honestly say now I’m not scared to die
I know you are waiting grandma, up in the heaven so high
I know when my day comes you’ll be there arms open wide
A big smile on your face, Jesus Christ by your side
So until the day we meet again
A balloon and a poem is what I’ll send
To remind you we’re thinking of you every day
Deep in our hearts and in our prayers you’ll stay
