In Meditation Poem by Annapurna Sharma

In Meditation

Rating: 5.0

In meditation, I
Sat cross-legged in silence
Locked the lashes in tandem
Tracked the rhythmic breath
Whipped away raucous chaos
Erased the deadly clutter
Forgot the ranting fights
Roamed the solitude psychic lanes
Soared in momentary bliss
Scaled the daunting cliff
Fell into the demonic gorge
Coughed up salty turbulent waters
Spidered by the mundane again
Tortured by the equatorial Sun
Numbed by the Atlantic glaciers
Wrestled the deep sea devils
Clipped the winds of repulsive thoughts
Reined the erratic pulse
Focused on the light in me
Transcended into a new world
Deluged in an aura of mesmerization
Sublimed into serenity
Bestowed by HIS grace, I
Fused with HIM!

Roamed the solitude psychic lanes Soared in momentary bliss Scaled the daunting cliff....focused on the light in me...... transcendence...... meditation in the beginning is exactly like this..... we have to struggle till our mind gets calm and only then we will enjoy tranquility.. thank u dear poetess. tony
