In Mid-Summer Blaze Poem by Mohammad Younus

In Mid-Summer Blaze

In mid-summer's blaze,
snowflakes descend,
A silent dance
where reasons bend.
I question truths
I thought I knew—
What light remains,
what corners remain
unilluminated?

Mysterious are the ways of God,
beyond our understanding's reach,
Defying paths we trace with mind.
Blow hot below cold—
Two breaths both cradle life.

Predict not how the rain falls,
When there are no clouds, no storm
The little birds but taking a bath.
Each step unfolds at the Unseen's decree—
Mystery's song sung wild and free.

The snows surprise the Arabian dessert,
Embrace the divine's uncertain snowfall.
In God's great scheme, where wonders lie,
I'll trust the mysterious path beneath the sky.
