In My Dreams Poem by Alfred Ramos

In My Dreams

Through a glass moon
Chard reflections
Dart through the clinging clouds
Streamlined into your eyes
Absorbing the brightest of blues
That turned heads in the night
That slippery stare that you gave
Created a subtle distance between us
Like long time lovers
An aura surrounded us
The whistling wind whipped your hair
Into a static state of revelation
And my responses, piercing yet shy
Pulled you in
For you were a dream tucked under my pillow
A vision without division
As your lilac hand caress my skin
Longing for the simple taste of desire
Into forbidden territories
With a quizzical glance
My emotions froze
My sub-conscious abruptly awakens
A childhood nightmare reborn
