In My Search For Hidden Truths Poem by Mohammad Younus

In My Search For Hidden Truths

In my search for hidden truths,
I unearthed the essence of my own soul,
Effacing the ancient mark on Adam's brow:
'Tyrannical and ignorant you are.'
I sought the unblemished light of the sun,
And still, I search for the sun within Adam—undeterred.
Are you aware of life's singular, absolute truth?
Will you embrace it fully and declare:
'I am the radiance of that hidden sun? '

The masses favor comforting lies,
Draping themselves in the bliss of ignorance,
Their hearts swayed by illusion,
Content with the veil of duality over their eyes.
The idea of unity disturbs their slumber,
So they reject the sages, the gnostics who cry:
'All is One, and One is in all.'

Champions of this divine truth—
They stand outside the gates of society,
Scorned, excluded, and reviled
For shaking the foundations of the slumbering masses,
For defying false prophets and hollow institutions
That traffic in deception, delusion, and illusion.

Ultimately, Truth proves invincible,
Conquering falsehood—despite its stubborn resistance.
For Truth is wisdom, falsehood mere deceit,
And in the end,
Truth's light shall ever meet the eyes that seek,
And enlighten the heart that yearns to know—
The wisdom that sets free the soul from illusion's reign.
