In Nature’s Lap Again Poem by Ambrosia Ambrosia

In Nature’s Lap Again

Oh! I am back to nature’s lap again,
Solaced as the long lost child returns to mother

Roaring Kali River, flowing uninterruptedly
Playful song birds, chirping untiringly

Whistling woods, soothing like never before
Colorful wild flowers, spreading fragrance unceasingly

Pitiful leeches! Dying after sucking poisonous human blood
Alerting all the other creatures never to near humans!

Oh merciful, your blessings are unlimited,
Fulfill your child’s wish only once

My first and last wish… to stay amid the untouched
Jungle…. beside a river, in my little beautiful nest.
