In nature there is a power
That wills all saddened hearts
To joy, as each closed flower
Bears the strength the sun imparts;
Blooming silently like a new dawn.
It bade me don't forget it
When my spirits are sinking low,
But rather see my way lit
Through life's ever winding flow;
And not doubt my steps
When walking blind, in love.
So open up your arms
And, like the evening winds
When they hear a brook's sweet charms,
Love will rush in;
A tender breath of hope
From an angel by your side.
