Seated on a white lotus
With the lute and the book
And the white swan by her side?

She is Akshara, Shabda,
She is Vani,
Vidya, Gnan, Prakash,
Goddess of Learning.

Goddess of Letter, Word,
She is Speech,
Learning, Knowledge, light,
Goddess of Learning.
