In Quietude Poem by Satish Verma

In Quietude

Rating: 5.0

Let me take back your
passion. Give me not, your love.
O moon, I want you.

Was this a ruinous unlocking?
Tell me how you will mend the
broken terracotta?

Was it a backflip to
amuse your benevolence? A giver
never begs for a funeral.

" Was this a ruinous unlocking? " I enjoyed this extraordinarily short poem by Satishji. Insightful and profound.
