In Silence Poem by Kelly Curiel

In Silence

I look in your eyes
all I see is kindness and light
your hands are so warm and rough
your embrace so gentle and close
filled with a fervor so deep
grasping me with firm insistence.

You kiss me so delicately
lips brushing against each other
subtle as the stroke of a petal.
Your touch rushes through me
I feel your heart
reaching for my body
laying your hands upon my soul.

Lying with you
head rests on your chest
how effortless these moments are
with you no words escape my lips
no need to speak of what can't be described.
Our love flourishes in silence.
