Selfish Love Poem by Kelly Curiel

Selfish Love

Bittersweet kisses, secret lovemaking
In this love there is no giving, just taking
You look upon me with famished eyes
And I can’t help but fantasize
Remembering our deep and passionate cries…

One touch ignites the fire within
Your lips I kiss and taste our sin
I’ll take your hand, so you may lead
To devour each other in lustful greed,
Our bodies know just what we need.

I can’t lie to you, neither pretend
That I ever want this love to end
Wrapped in your arms, for this I pray
May we be locked in our desires always
For this selfish love takes my breath away.
