In Some With Nia Poem by Annia Rosa

In Some With Nia

Sharp tics and sounds
Air tossing and turning
Bells
Bells ringing and ringing and ringing
blink

breathe
Heat. Stuffy heat
Tossing
Turning
Upside
Yearn ing
R e a c h ing
Fall i ng
Crying
Waking

blink,
breathe

Left
Right
No
Take another
Yet another
Turn it over
Repeat

blink, breathe

Images — so many images
Absence
Return
Some with meaning. Some dawdle.
Absence
Return
Lingering
Oh, so accursed.

Blink and breathe,

blink and breathe.

breathe

I gave it a dag-gum NINE. You lying in bed can't go to sleep? Very interesting poem. Want more! S.
