In stillness, they come—
whispers of the truth
too vast for words.
No grasp can hold them,
yet in the quiet of the heart,
their warmth lingers.
Shapeless, soundless,
they carry no syllable—
only the soft certainty:
I love You.
I hear them often,
and with each murmur,
His intent shines clear.
Though you may not comprehend,
through wisdom's eyes, I see
His gifts—overflowing, unreserved—
love's wine, ready to pour.
To simply say,
I love You too—not possible.
Words fall short,
unable to express
the depth within.
It is the love of an artist
for the work of their hands.
And yet,
does the painting possess a voice
to thank the hand
that brings it to life?
