In The Corner Of A Mirror Poem by ion untaru

In The Corner Of A Mirror

Chipped in the corner of a mirror
In which I don't recognize me
Coniferous forests and musk
With the grass of evening are fleeting

And then a sweet dream
With herds of more longings
Flood occult steppes
As a mystery that tempts me;

And everywhere a point
Hidden is in our eyes
Call of muses on where
Where in my youth I was

Travels from other era
As an unmistakable taboo
The flight of a dirigible
Through which don't reach to wealth

romanian version

Ciobit în colţ ul de oglindă
În care nu mă recunosc
Pă duri de conifere ş i de mosc
Cu iarba serii se perindă

Ş i-atunci o dulce reverie
Cu herghelii de doruri multe
Inundă stepele oculte
Ca un mister ce mă îmbie;

Ş i pretutindenea un rost
În vă zul nostru se ascunde
Chemarea muzelor pe unde
Cu anii tineri am mai fost -

Peregrină ri din alte ere
Ca un tabu inconfundabil
În zborul unui dirijabil
Cu care nu mai faci avere
