In The Darkness She Hides
In the darkness she hides
from the man she loved,
but never really knew
To find the truth from his bruising hands
Having all hope taken away
Wishing she could tell,
but to scared to try
In the darkness she hides,
trying to make sense out of life
How could she have bean so blind,
not to have seen who he really is
Now she knows the truth,
but is to afraid to leave.
