In The Dilapidated Temple Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

In The Dilapidated Temple

In the dilapidated temple where columns alone stand.

The roof the noble and the immense heavens.

At day the sun; at night the moon, the stars

And dainty figures elegant slim dance, dance

In the night chill around remaining columns.

Naiads and nymphs as vestal virgins.

And hundred meters far the sea-waves whiten.
