In The Early Hours Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

In The Early Hours

In the early hours of the Morning,
Too wide awake to go to bed,
Dealing with Computer Problems.
As words for poems flood my head.

I shouldn’t really do this,
For my Health, not good is it,
Better to write the words down,
Than ‘toss and turn’ to remember it.

Ten past five in the morning.
No sleep have I this night,
The first snow is thick upon the ground,
Covering everything in sight.

This white virginal blanket,
Not touched by cars or folk,
Soon to be turned to slush and ice,
Which for many is no joke.

I must have more patience,
To let my Computer do its task.
Unless it checks my Disk Drives,
Its stability will not last.
