In The End Poem by Kelsey Omess

In The End

Rating: 1.0

We were only 10 with big dreams
So much into each other
Nothing was a secret to either of us
The light in our world was brighter than a whole worldly darkness

As grown as we're now
we chose to accept the changes in priorities
Exchanging smiles behind the curtains we lighted up
It's never gonna be the same again.

Incase you're wondering if there's still a spark
though it's late but not too late
an open opportunity for your last say
truth be told
it left me broken.

If roses are red and violets are blue
would you mind if I take your hand
walk us into our world
To turn our dreams into a reality,
One we never thought we'll get into
Someday; In the end?
