In The Forest, Me And The Forest Are Alone

In the forest, me and the forest are alone
No, the forest loving poets Robert Frost,
Pablo Neruda, Oscar wilde et.al.,
Or their lines have not accompanied me
Here I am out on my own

Oh yes, the scientist and the poet in me
Have come with me
The scientist is quizzing how
A Forest like this forms
Poet in me is lost in the milieu
enjoying the stillness
Heart tingling chillness
The dense trees with thick foliage
Casting deep shadow beneath
Blocking all sun light to seep thro'

Flora and fauna are part of the forest
Except them no one else with it
That leaves me, scientist and poet
keeping company with it, Yea
me and the forest are very alone indeed!

Low hanging fruits on the trees
fill my belly, a stream with crystal clear water
Reflecting my whole being flows downhill
from the nearbymountain helping me bathe
quench the thirst, all my primitive
requirements taken care of, Iam content here
Leave me and the forest alone, see you folks!
