In The Island Where Juan Landed



and so juan was washed
away
landed in the island
of monkeys
and snakes and there
he was the only
human being
mocked by all...

the monkeys laugh
his language and
actuation
why he could not
climb trees

and the snakes
keep looking for a
time
to eat him up...
