In The Late Night/When The Darkness Is Already Too Dark Poem by Shalom Freedman

In The Late Night/When The Darkness Is Already Too Dark

In the late night
When the darkness is already too dark
And the morning so far away
In the late night
When only sleep promises relief
From the ongoing emptiness
A few lines come to suddenly transform
Even the darkest night
To something like light.
