In The Quiet Of Her Craft Poem by Sumita Jetley

In The Quiet Of Her Craft

In a sunlit room, she sits alone,
With sketches spread, her talent shown,
Aisha dreams, her pencil light,
But fear keeps her art from sight.

Her hands create what eyes admire,
Designs that spark a hidden fire,
Yet deep inside, her heart's confined,
By whispers of a doubting mind.

She critiques the world with sharpened gaze,
But when it's hers, she hides in haze,
For judgment looms, a shadow near,
And silence grows from rooted fear.

But in the stillness of her space,
A quiet love begins to trace,
The lines that lead her soul to peace,
Where doubts and worries find release.

One day, perhaps, she'll let it go,
And share the beauty she's come to know,
But for now, she seeks and waits,
For courage, love, to guide her fate.
