In The Quiet Of The Silence/Of My Own Loneliness Poem by Shalom Freedman

In The Quiet Of The Silence/Of My Own Loneliness

IN THE QUIET OF THE SILENCE/ OF MY OWN LONELINESS

In the quiet of the silence
Of my own loneliness
No words are as quiet as forever
And all I think to say
Mean merely my own
Mindless Memory
Has lost its way
And in its venture to the stars
Has been left
Down on the ground
Cold and relenting
As unknown
