In the shadow of a myth,
entangled in the lies,
I struggled to unearth the Truth.
But now I realise
that hidden in a legend,
which very few believed,
was all the light we need to see
how we have been deceived.

We've heard it all before,
it isn't news.
But no one understood,
we could not choose.
We'll only find one key to what we mean,
the rest was just a back-cloth
that was hung to set the scene.

I thought that love alone
could heal this aching in my heart.
But love will never be enough,
it only plays a part.
I know now that we'll never get to travel very far,
until we understand
where we began
and who we are.
For love is blind and aimless as the sea.
But Truth can show us how to make
its power set us free.

In the shadow of a myth,
entangled in the lies,
I struggled to make sense of life,
but now I realise,
that hidden in a legend,
which I refused to see,
we'll find the key to power
and the light to set us free.
The Holy Grail, is not deceit or sham,
it's the Wisdom that will make a God of Man;
her searching light will clarify our role,
when we see the Truth reflected in our soul.
