The engines roar, the wheels leave the ground,
And suddenly, we're flying without a sound.
The clouds outside, they dance and play,
As we soar through the sky, on our way.
The world below, so far away,
Seems small and insignificant today.
The cities, the mountains, the seas and the lakes,
All look like tiny models, for our sake.
The wind outside, it whistles and hums,
As we glide through the air, like a bird that just plumbed.
The sun, it shines, with a bright golden glow,
And the warmth of its rays, we all come to know.
The flight attendants, they come around,
Offering drinks and snacks, as we hear the sound.
Of the pilot's voice, coming over the speakers,
To inform us of the altitude, as it grows ever higher.
The flight goes on, and on we fly,
Through the endless blue of the sky.
And as we approach our destination,
We know that this flight, was a true sensation.
For in the air, we felt so free,
And all our worries, they simply flee.
And though we must land, and come back to earth,
We know that in the sky, we've found our true worth.
