In The Twilight Zone Poem by Mohammad Younus

In The Twilight Zone

In the twilight zone,
As night begins to fade,
Soft music drifts
Through the dim-lit room,
Calling me gently to rise.

Sweet piano notes ring out,
Drums resound, steady and clear.
Morning birdsong floats in—
A melody of joy, love, and peace,
Merging as one.

My eyes open after long sleep,
My heart, by some miracle, unfolds.
An ethereal voice hums within—
Forms dissolve into pure sound,
A single breath in the great symphony.

A flash of light touches my eyes,
Warmth blooms within my chest.
The music returns,
Carrying me back to the womb,
Where the first question stirred:
'Am I not your mother? '
And I whispered: 'Yes, my mother! '
