In The Water Poem by Samuel James Moore

In The Water

Into this darkness I plunge,
Into this dark water I glide,
My soul is hidden, for it I search,
Among the bones.
Rotting corpses of my past,
Shifting tides and shifting times.
Lungs burn in a flash.
Eyelids glow w/ bloods glee
Fingers curl, crush my palms.
Exhaling fumes of waste, in pours eternity.
