In This Moment Poem by Matthew Mclaughlin

In This Moment

As we dance,
melodies roaring through the clouds rhythms bouncing with every move of her hips
I'd gladly die in this moment so I'd never know what the future will bring
They say there are wolves in every poem
And as that may be true, right now
all I see is you
she dances in the breeze, freedom in every sense of the word
I can feel her breathing in me, her name echoing in my mind
We're as close as we could be, there's no dwelling on the world that surrounds
In this moment we're one
Hopefully tomorrow she's won't be gone
