In This Vast World Poem by Mohammad Younus

In This Vast World

In this vast world,
I seek thee, ever searching,
Within and without, I journey on,
As life's clock ticks, relentless, ceaseless,
I flow with time's unyielding current,
Amidst shadows, groping, seeking.

No eyes behold, but mine alone,
I am both witness and seeker,
In slumber and wakefulness alike,
Embarking on the quest within.

When all lie still in the night's embrace,
Illusions veil their sight,
Yet, in the sacred chamber of my soul,
I am awake, attuned to divine melodies.

My spirit extends, reaching into silence,
Seeking amidst boundless emptiness,
For in its depths, your timeless presence dwells,
And within the sanctum of my heart,
Only I reside, finding solace within.
